Cala Farm is run by brothers Rodrigo and Juan Carlos Cala in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. They have grown certified organic vegetables for the Twin Cities' food co-ops and Co-op Partners' Warehouse for many years. Cala Farm provides Shared Ground Cooperative with fresh vegetable staples such as broccoli, green peppers, and cabbage. Cala Farm also grows and sells organic plant seedlings to other farm members within Shared Ground Cooperative. Off the farm, owner Rodrigo Cala works for the Latino Economic Development Center as a Farm Consultant for other Latino and immigrant farmers in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.
